Warning: Do try this at home!
YOU WILL NEED: 2 to 3 Feet of Wire | Ring mandrel or a Marker
STEP 1: Wrap the wire tightly around the ring mandrel. Try to overlap the wire randomly as you go. I wrapped it 10 times but you can do it as many times as you want.
If you plan on making a lot of these – or if you’re part-time ring maker part-time fabulous – then maybe get a ring mandrel. Otherwise, find a cylindrical object that’s about the size of your finger and you should be fine. Think pens, sharpies, markers or wooden spoon… The world is your oyster!
STEP 2: Make sure to curve the ends of the wire following the overall shape of the ring. Tuck in the loose ends under other loops so they stay in place nicely. I’ve been wearing mine constantly for the past week and so far didn’t have any problem with it poking out, getting stuck in clothes or loosening.
